I'm sure that you find 'climbing' cliffs and such, refreshing. You are young, skilled, and seem to have a lot of strength left to DO that! I do not have the strength anymore, nor the prowess and skill to even try. I'm at that age where the Lord is using me in other ways.
Tho' you indicate that you are NOT into 'religion' at this time, please be aware that I myself was NOT speaking of 'religion'; but of "Faith (TRUST)!"
I simply mentioned that we ourselves do NOT KNOW whether we were "CHOSEN" by God in Eternity-past. Neither did the one Repentant Thief on his cross! But look HOW he suffered at the end, before he came to believe in Christ!
At this point, may I suggest that you simply 'save' my Quadcode-post, until such time as you can pick up a Bible and read thru some of the passages that I quoted. It may help you to understand it better.
Wouldn't it be a surprise to you if you were indeed already among the "CHOSEN," but had refused to come to "TRUST in Jesus;" until you were 'forced' into it with some kind of 'crisis' in your life?
You should know, my friend, that you HAVE already been bro't before The Lord Jesus in prayer; that nothing serious happen to you in all your 'climbing' experiences.
May His Grace be upon you, and that you be Enabled to 'come' to KNOW Him soon!
