1st here's a vid- really well shot of one of the worlds top women climbers on a super hard climb-
Natalija Gros from Jure Breceljnik on Vimeo.
and here's one, shot by my own fair hand, of the rather excellent Holger, German-born local-based, easy going friendly climber on a tough boulder problem on my local crag- good to see you again Holger- thanks for the beta on my problem :¬)Oh- and Holger's just completed a first ascent of one of the hardest problems there- a traverse of the whole cliff face- I forgot to ask him the grade....
(amazing to compare Holger's static controlled style on "Be Ruthless" with Sam Cattells's dynamic movement on the same problem (see previous Pantymwyn video))

A new rock star is born....
Close at the heals of Adam Ondra is climbing sensation Rachel Blackwood- rarely has such natural talent been evident- Rachel cruises a 3, making the grade look easy. It's only a matter of time before Rachel is the name on everyone's lips, forgotten will be such dinosaurs as Sharma and Andrada- make way for the new generation of superclimbers....

Sheep Fold Bouldering, Ogwen Vally
Loved this problem, absolute class. Slopers, crimps, heel hooks, rock overs, even dynamic throws- all in the space of 12ft of climbing. If you don't love climbing this- you don't love climbing!

North Wales in March
Norwegian marathon runner and former work collegue Silje cracks on a blistering pace up the Pyg track on Snowdon. Ice and frozen hail make for treacherous conditions, one slip and
it's a long way down...
it's a long way down...
Another session on Elephantitis, Llyn Gwynant- still no success- but still an amazing place to spend a day- no complaints
My Spanish friends- what a gang- so good to see you all- and so happy- I hope Jesus, Pili and Rotheo are happy again soon after their loss- my thoughts are with you.
What?! Me? In a club?! I've spent more nights in a sleeping bag under a cliff in the last few years than in a club- but I have to admit it- I had loads of fun ;¬)
Chris Doyle and his mate showing just how hard the classic V6 boulder problem "The Limpet" is... A great looking problem- I vow to return when it's warm enough I can feel my fingers- and dry enough that they will grip the rock.
