Is a Spanish film by Guillermo Del Toro. I knew it was fairytale like, but I hadn't realised just how grown up this one was going to be: not one for the kids....Very dark, gritty, gothic tale with very adult themes and quite graphic violence- beautifully filmed- quite powerful.

I think I made the right decision not taking Jenny to see that, Miss Potter was right up her street it had talking bunnies in it.
I think you were right too! I winced at some of the violence- but it was a great film. There were fairys- but they had their heads bitten off :¬(
